Our amazing team of volunteers is made up of family and friends. Steve and Pam Scheible, Jacob's parents, work hard each year to network with businesses who want to give back to the youth of the Northwoods, as well as in Eau Claire where Jacob grew up.

Our History
The Jacob A. Scheible Golf Scholarship Inc. was created in February 2021 after the passing of Jacob. His family wanted a way to give back to the community that supported and loved Jacob throughout his life; as well as wanting to create something positive out of the loss of such a talented young man.
The first annual Jacob A. Scheible Memo
The Jacob A. Scheible Golf Scholarship Inc. was created in February 2021 after the passing of Jacob. His family wanted a way to give back to the community that supported and loved Jacob throughout his life; as well as wanting to create something positive out of the loss of such a talented young man.
The first annual Jacob A. Scheible Memorial Golf Outing was held on June 27th, 2021 at Trout Lake Golf Club, where Jacob worked. The fourth and final golf memorial was June 23rd, 2024.
The first and fourth fundraisers were our highest sponsorship years. All four years the tournament ran, over $30,000 in donations were raised thanks to the benevolence and support of our faithful contributors.

Our focus is to promote higher education through the sport of golf.
This year five high school senior students will be eligible for $1,500 scholarships in Jacob's name to put towards their educational expenses; two at Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua, one at Northland Pines High School in Eagle River, and one at Eau Claire Memoria

This year five high school senior students will be eligible for $1,500 scholarships in Jacob's name to put towards their educational expenses; two at Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua, one at Northland Pines High School in Eagle River, and one at Eau Claire Memorial High School in Eau Claire where Jacob attended school. This is a $500 increase from 2023, thanks to all of our generous supporters!
In addition to the scholarships, the Jacob A. Scheible Golf Scholarship Inc. completely funds the Junior Golf Program at Trout Lake Golf Club. This is a seven-week program for children ages 8-15 where they attend weekly lessons and play a tournament at the conclusion of the classes. Through annual donations from your contributions, Scott Howard, PGA Head Golf Professional offers two sessions of classes for all interested youth.
